Description of the role: We’re seeking an IT Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal IT support, providing Level 1 technical assistance to William Buck users across NSW, Canberra, and the Philippines. You will manage IT queries, incidents, and service requests, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the business.

 

What makes you ‘just right’:

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Basic understanding of Windows, and common business applications.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, ability to follow documented procedures and use ticketing systems.
  • Hands on experience in M365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, or endpoint security administration.

 

What your day might look like:

  • Provide first-level IT support for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune), including user access, email support, device setup, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Respond to IT support requests, accurately log and manage incidents in the service desk system, and ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Perform routine support tasks including password resets, account unlocks, software installations, and device provisioning/imaging.
  • Assist with Intune device enrolment, basic compliance checks, and standard application deployment.
  • Install and update operating systems and applications.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff when required.
  • Provide user-friendly communication and support to employees with varying technical knowledge.
  • Assist with meeting room technology and AV setups when needed.
