Description of the role:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor or Manager to join our Sydney Corporate Finance team.
Our Corporate Finance team is focused on mid-market transactions with typical EV's of between $10-250M across a diverse range of industries, with deep skills in health technology, advanced manufacturing and professional services. Our practice has been built on integrity and providing a whole of firm offering to our clients working with tax and a range of other service lines.
This is a broad role, hands-on role, offering exposure across the full lifecycle of transactions including valuations, mergers and acquisitions/ sell-side advisory, financial due diligence, capital raising and strategic planning.
Beyond technical capability, we are looking for someone who brings positive energy, integrity and a collaborative mindset in everything they do.
You will be a key contributor within a full-service corporate finance division, responsible not only for delivering outstanding outcomes for clients, but also for mentoring and developing junior team members, helping to shape team culture, and supporting the long-term growth of the practice.
What makes you ‘just right’:
- 4+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance within a professional services or advisory environment
- Exposure to transaction execution across areas such as valuations, M&A, due diligence, or capital raising
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, practical advice for clients
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
- A collaborative, proactive working style and the desire to contribute to a high-performing team culture
- Postgraduate or professional qualifications such as Master of Applied Finance, CFA or CA.
What your day might look like:
- Delivering high-quality transaction and advisory services to clients
- Leading and contributing to a range of transactions in M&A, financial due diligence, business valuations and strategy engagements
- Developing clear, commercially focused advice supported by high-quality written reports
- Assisting in the development and execution of deals
- Building, understanding and interpreting complex financial models
- Analysing company performance, profitability and cash flow drivers
- Conducting industry, market and comparable company research
- Managing and maintaining client files, deal databases and engagement documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks and proposals
- Mentoring and developing more junior team members
