Description of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Principal to join our Sydney Corporate Finance team.

Our Corporate Finance team is focused on mid-market transactions with typical EV’s of between $10-250m across a diverse range of industries, with deep skills in health, technology, advanced manufacturing and professional services. Our practice has been built on integrity and providing a whole of firm offering to our clients working with tax and a range of other service lines.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering exposure across the full lifecycle of transactions including valuations, mergers and acquisitions/  sell-side advisory, financial due diligence, capital raising and strategic planning.

Beyond technical capability, we are looking for a natural leader who combines commercial acumen with positive energy, integrity and a collaborative mindset in everything they do.

You will be a key contributor within a full-service corporate finance division, responsible not only for delivering outstanding outcomes for clients, but also for mentoring and developing junior team members, helping to shape team culture, and building a platform for long-term growth.

What makes you ‘just right’:  

  • 7+yrs experience within Corporate Finance professional services
  • Well developed skills within a Corporate Finance/Transaction Advisory/Due Diligence or M&A Advisory position
  • Must be a business builder with a proven track record
  • Solid experience with valuations of businesses, shares and intangible assets
  • Financial Due Diligence experience
  • Understanding of M&A Advisory
  • Understanding or experience in capital raisings including preparation of investigating accountant’s reports
  • Ability to build, understand and interpret complex financial models
  • Solid business and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Post Graduate qualifications – Master of Applied Finance, or CFA, CA qualifications
