Description of the role: We’re seeking a Bookkeeper to join our Business Advisory team. Working alongside a team of collaborative and driven accountants, you will provide a high level of service and have exposure to a wide range of local and international clients.  In working with our clients, you will be exposed to a variety of industries and accounting packages.

 

What makes you ‘just right’:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in MYOB, Xero and other accounting packages.
  • Bookkeeping or Accounting qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.
  • Focus on delivering a high level of client service.

 

What your day might look like:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable / Receivable.
  • Preparing weekly payments.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and other accounts as directed.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
  • Assist with business activity statement preparation and reporting.
  • Manage payroll preparation.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting.
  • Respond to internal / external client enquiries in a timely manner.
