Description of the role: We’re seeking an experienced Head of IT to join our fast-growing organisation as we expand across multiple locations. As we scale, we need a proactive, hands-on IT leader who can take ownership of our IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to drive business success. This leadership position requires a combination of technical expertise and project management skills, particularly in a growth-driven environment. What makes you ‘just right’:

A Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, PMP) are desirable but not essential.

Proven experience in an IT leadership role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems management, and project execution.

Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, security protocols, cloud technologies, and software development lifecycles.
What your day might look like:

Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software. Ensure that all systems are secure, reliable, and efficient, supporting a seamless experience for users across multiple locations.

Project Management: Manage and prioritise IT projects, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with other departments to ensure technology projects align with business needs.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Lead efforts to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data, systems, and intellectual property. Implement best practices for data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.

Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Own the IT department’s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
